The food protection program is to help insure a safe and healthy atmosphere
in all food establishments in Yuba County. The program reviews plans and
issues permits for food facilities that serve the public. Inspections are
made on a routine basis to insure compliance with current
food handling laws and
regulations.
Yuba County uses
the new CAL-CODE food codes.

The Cottage Food Bill (AB 1616)
The forms listed below are the self
certification form for "A" type Cottage food facilities
as well as the registration/permit
form for type "A" and "B" facilities.
These forms should be printed,
filled out and brought to the Environmental Health
Department for fee payment and
