As of June 18, 2010, most 2010 Census field enumeration offices, including Yuba County, have been closed.  There will be a final effort in the next 10 to 15 days to count persons who still have not been contacted by a Census enumerator workerOn July 20, 2010, the 2010 Census count will end.  If someone wants to be included in the 2010 Census and has not been contacted by a Census worker before July 20, 2010, they should contact the Fairfield California Census office by telephone.  The contact number is (707) 430-0464.

What is the Census? The Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years.
What's on the Census Form? This is one of the shortest Census forms in its history. There are 10 questions that can be answered in about 10 minutes.
What Type of Questions are on the Form?
- Name - Age - Race
- Sex - Date of Birth - Own or Rent
How Do I Return the Census? Once you have answered the 10 questions just mail the Census back in the postage paid envelope provided.

The 2010 Census will help communities receive more than $400 billion in federal funds each year for things like:  

- Hospitals

- Job Training Centers

- Schools

- Senior Centers

- Bridges, Tunnels and Other Public Works Projects

- Emergency Services
