Star Bend boat ramp & parking lot will be closed
August 17, 2009 through September 21, 2009

Located in south Yuba County on the Feather River, Star Bend Boat Ramp provides optimal boat launching access directly into the hot-spot of seasonal game fish migrations.  Among the species popularly sought after, salmon, striped bass and sturgeon are routinely landed on this stretch of the Feather River.

2007 CALIFORNIA COASTAL CLEANUP DAY
On Saturday, September 15, 2007, Yuba County Environmental Health hosted the 23rd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day at the Star Bend Boat Ramp.  In three hours time, over 70 volunteers collected and disposed of an astounding 18,800 pounds of illegally dumped trash and debris.  Amazingly, 7,520 pounds of that was of recyclable material.  Yuba County Public Works would like to extend a big thanks to Environmental Health and the volunteers involved, as this stands as a testament to the impact a few of us can make when we take pride in our local resources.
