1st installment is due 11/01/2011 and delinquent after 12/12/2011;  a 10% penalty will apply if paid after this date. As the 10th falls on a Saturday this year, due date is extended to next business day of 12/12/2011.

2nd installment is due February 1, 2012 and delinquent after 4/10/2012;  a 10% penalty plus a $20.00 cost will apply to the second installment after 4/10/2012.  A dditional penalties will apply after July 1, 2012.

Should you have any questions regarding the due dates and or the payment amounts due please contact our office.

2011-2012  Unsecured property tax bills were mailed out on 7/27/2011.  Payments were due 8/31/2011 and considered delinquent after this date.  Additional penalty will apply after 8/31/2011 and interest will be added the first of every month starting 11/1/2011.  If unsecured property taxes remain unpaid, liens may be filed which may adversely affect  an individual's borrowing and or credit.

Ownership on the lien date (January 1, 2011) determines the obligation to pay taxes.  The disposal of property after the lien date (1/1/2011) does not relieve the owner of his or her responsibility to pay this bill.

Do contact the Yuba County Assessor's office at (530) 749 7820 to inform that office that the assessed property

has been sold, moved or disposed of, so that you are not bill next year.
